Understanding Shoulder Impingement
Shoulder impingement, also known as subacromial impingement syndrome, occurs when the tendons of the rotator cuff and the subacromial bursa become compressed or irritated within the shoulder joint. This can be caused by repetitive overhead activities, shoulder trauma or injury, and aging related changes in the shoulder structure Symptoms can include:
Pain in the shoulder, especially when raising the arm
Weakness or loss of strength in the affected shoulder
Difficulty reaching behind the back or overhead
Pain that worsens at night or with specific activities
Gradual onset of symptoms related to shoulder movement

“Greg does excellent work, he helped me with shoulder and neck pain that kept me from climbing, or doing any of the activities that I enjoyed. After a year and a half of pain, a handful of different doctor visits with no positive results. Greg was able to get me functional in just a few weeks, and pain free in a few months. I would strongly recommend him to anyone struggling with sport, or musculoskeletal issues. Simply put he solved problems for me no one else could.” -Joey B.
“Greg is incredible! I went in for shoulder problems and came out on day one with a diagnosis, practical plan to fix it, and my shoulders have never felt better! The office is inviting, clean, and everything is extremely professional and tailored to you. 100% recommended to everyone!” -Sarah K.
